Hey local Philly pholks! This upcoming weekend, I'll be at the Great Philadelphia Comic Con, taking place at the Greater Philadelphia Convention Center in Oaks, PA April 22-24th! Last year, this show came out of almost nowhere, and turned out to be a blast! This years show is shaping up to be even better! I'll be in artist alley with good pals and fantastic artists Ian Glaubinger and Dave Perillo, so stop by and say hello! In case you missed it... My appearance on AMC's "Comic Book Men"

A little late with this post, but there's a reason for that. Long story short, I stumbled into the opportunity of a lifetime. I was able to sell a very "in demand" comic book that's been in my collection for almost 25 years, AND be on one of my favorite TV shows at the same time.

With a major Hollywood studio releasing a "Deadpool" film this year, the character's first appearance in New Mutants #98 is one of the FEW hot books that was released in the gluttonous 90s, now demanding a high price tag on the secondary market.

I was sworn to secrecy about my appearance until the episode was released online and aired on AMC, so I had to refrain from spilling the beans on social media, etc. The whole experience was fun and surreal. The guys were great to talk to, and the production team behind the show couldn't have been better to work with.

All I can say at this point, is I still have a house full of comic books and wouldn't mind making the road trip to Red Bank, NJ again to share more of my collection with the crew at the "Secret Stash".
