Putting up a few of the results of recent forays into screenprinting, hoping to see if there's any interest. Be the "One Who Brunches" in one of my t-shirts...

Mint Condition show at LTD Gallery
Hey all,
This is my submission for the upcoming "Mint Condition: A Comic Book Inspired Art Show" which begins this Friday, March 30th at the LTD Art Gallery at 307 E. Pike Street, Seattle Washington. This show is sponsored by, and being held in conjunction with the Emerald City Comic-con which is also going on this weekend from 3/30-4/1. If you happen to be in Seattle this weekend, and looking for some extra nerdy things to do, look no further!
My piece is entitled "Hard Day's Work", and is a 16" x 20" Giclée print on archival paper, and is limited to an edition of 30. I've just been told that a small amount will be offered for pre-order starting Thursday March 29th, specifically for those not in the local Seattle area. For more info, go to http://LTDartgallery.com
Thanks for looking!

Crazy 4 Cult 5, July 8th @ Gallery 1988

Hey all,
Taking a moment to show off my submission for this year's Crazy 4 Cult 5 taking place on Friday July 8th at Gallery 1988: Melrose in Los Angeles. My piece is based on Stanley Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange" using familiar elements and terms/phrases from the film and incorporating them into a tattoo inspired design. If you're in the Los Angeles area, this weekend, stop by and "viddy well" all of the wonderful art. It's "real horrorshow"...
The print is an 18" x 24" 3-color screen print, a print run of 100, and available the night of the show at the gallery and the next day on the website (http://gallery1988.com/) for $35.
Also, the following Sunday will be a signing of the "Crazy 4 Cult" art book, again at the Melrose location of Gallery 1988. The book showcases many of the pieces from the 4 previous Crazy 4 Cult events, including a forward by Kevin Smith. Stop by, and tell 'em "Derby sent ya"!
Best,
Derb

"Is This Thing On?" Show at Gallery 1988 tonight (1/7)!

Hey all,
Just wanted to let you know about tonight's show entitled: "IS THIS THING ON?
1OO artists take aim at funny people" taking place tonight (1/7/11) at Gallery 1988: Melrose. Having grown up in the 70's and 80's, Cheech and Chong played a big part in my formative years due to the C&C 8-track tapes (yes, I'm that old) that my older siblings had, and that I was much too young to be listening to at the time.
