Here is the full reveal of my submission for the upcoming "Product Placement" show at Gallery 1988. The first thing that introduced me to the magic of pop culture was the 1966 Adam West Batman TV show. It's one of the first things I remember watching on TV, and I still watch it to this day, but this time I watch it with my son.... SO when this show came about, I felt like I had to do something based on all of the wonderful gadgets that Batman had at his disposal...

Here's a small teaser of my submission for the upcoming "Product Placement" show at Gallery 1988, Saturday March 9th at Gallery 1988 East (New Location of gallery previous at Venice location) 7021 Melrose Ave. with an opening reception from 7-10pm.

The theme of the show is "screenprints of your favorite products that don't exist", featuring "fake advertisements" of products featured in various films...

Any guesses as to which film inspired my piece?

Howdy folks, It's been a while...
This here is my submission to the upcoming "Mint Condition 2: the 2nd Annual Comic Book Inspired Art Show" at LTD Gallery in Seattle, WA. The Opening reception is March 1st, sponsored by and in conjunction with the Emerald City Comic-Con.

My piece is inspired by a certain ring-wielding intergalactic peace officer, and the little blue aliens that serve as "guardians" to the "power of will" in the universe. I got my basic idea from the "Uncle Sam/I Want You!" military recruitment poster by James Montgomery Flagg during WWI...
