A little late with this post, but there's a reason for that. Long story short, I stumbled into the opportunity of a lifetime. I was able to sell a very "in demand" comic book that's been in my collection for almost 25 years, AND be on one of my favorite TV shows at the same time.
With a major Hollywood studio releasing a "Deadpool" film this year, the character's first appearance in New Mutants #98 is one of the FEW hot books that was released in the gluttonous 90s, now demanding a high price tag on the secondary market.
I was sworn to secrecy about my appearance until the episode was released online and aired on AMC, so I had to refrain from spilling the beans on social media, etc. The whole experience was fun and surreal. The guys were great to talk to, and the production team behind the show couldn't have been better to work with.
All I can say at this point, is I still have a house full of comic books and wouldn't mind making the road trip to Red Bank, NJ again to share more of my collection with the crew at the "Secret Stash".
My episode can be seen on AMCs website, along with other episodes and scenes from this season:

TeeFury Artist Spotlight: Nakedderby & Dave Perillo
A few weeks ago while touring the "left" coast, the folks at Teefury were lovely and gracious enough to let Dave "Montygog" Perillo and I run amok through their headquarters. In between wearing skirts, throwing graffiti up on their walls and stealing all of their pens, they put together this short video highlighting us and what we do. Now you can see just how much of a dork I really am. Enjoy...
